Whilst we work closely with several marinas we are fully independent and have the advantage that we can travel to you.  Furthermore we can offer very good prices because the huge overheads of a marina do not find their way onto your bill.

All work is carried out to the highest standards using the BSS Best Practice as our starting point.  This is a better standard than is required to gain your BSC and future-proofs the work.  What starts out as best practice in the BSS guidelines often becomes the required standard a few years later.

We are boaties ourselves (Andrew is a live-aboard Continuous Cruiser) we understand the differences between the normal domestic / house equipment as well as works and the more unique requirements demanded of a narrowboat.

Our commitment to high quality work and good service tailored to meet the needs of boats and boaties is reflected in our Public Liability Insurance.  We are covered to £5,000,000; this enables us to work in marinas, but over and above this we have a specific clause covering us for working on moored boats.
